Linknode's Next Generation Network Project brings optic fiber to rural Portugal with award-winning results. The future of optical data transport.

LINKNODE was an active and catalyst part of the New Generation Networks Project, designed and executed by DST Telecom, which took optical fiber to the rural north and south of the country and won the FTTH Council Award 2015 Operator Category. Our partner OPTICABLE (NEXANS) supplied 1,000 km of fiber optic overhead cable, specially designed and built for this application.

 

This project, which in the meantime has reached 450,000 homes, aims to double its current reach in the coming years. LINKNODE with its technological partner NEXGEN (Amadys Group) intends to once again position itself as a reference player in Passive Equipment in the foreseen extension of the current network. The following equipment is part of our offer: Cable Fixing Accessories, Splitters, Connectors, Optical Distribution Points and Joints.
